Julius’s wearable collection began in 2021 when she was invited to create wearables for the exhibition “Reformation” at Heller Gallery by artist Erica Rosenfeld. Since then, this series has been exhibited at Vetri Gallery in Seattle, Metals Museum in Memphis TN, Houston Center for Contemporary Crafts in Texas, and the Urban Glass Store in Brooklyn, NY. The work has been acquired into multiple private collections including Helen Drutt, Craft Historian and published in her book RINGS! 1968-2021.
This series is made from kilncast glass, gold leaf enamel, and opaque black glass bead, Each work is unique and considered a miniature sculpture designed to have an intimate connection with the wearer. The glass is cast from rocks and crystals and They serve as statement pieces for special occasions, openings, or parties.
